Job Overview
Are you passionate about financial markets, index solutions, and technology?

In this role, you will serve as a key partner to our clients in the delivery and ongoing management of index rebalances, custom equity baskets, and investable index strategies. You will combine client relationship management, index implementation, and technology testing to support high-quality product delivery. 
 
This is an opportunity for a proactive and fast-learning professional to contribute to client projects, improve operational workflows, and help develop scalable solutions across the business unit.
Your Tasks
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your dedicated clients on index rebalancing, including timelines, methodology questions, results, and issue resolution.
  • Execute client-provided index rebalances, validating the delivered constituents, weight changes, checking data inputs and outputs, and ensuring accurate implementation.
  • Partner with Delta One desks to set up and manage custom equity baskets, coordinating basket requirements, constituent and weight changes, and ongoing rebalancing.
  • Work with clients teams to set up investable index strategies that reflect client objectives and emerging investment themes.
  • Coordinate internal and external client projects, from requirements gathering and implementation through testing and delivery.
  • Use Python and APIs to retrieve, validate, and process data, and to improve recurring index-management workflows.
  • Test new features of the index calculation engine in consultation with IT, document findings, and help resolve issues before release.
  • Identify practical improvements that strengthen the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of the business unit.
Your Profile
  • 4+ years of experience in index management, portfolio management, equity markets, or a similar process-driven financial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong client relationship skills and the ability to explain index, portfolio, and operational concepts clearly.
  • Working experience with data vendors/aggregators like FactSet, Refinitiv, Bloomberg is a plus  
  • Organized and capable of managing multiple client projects, rebalancing cycles, testing activities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with SQL, VBA, Python, API’s is an asset.
