Job Overview

Your Tasks
  • Developing and implementing innovative equity index methodologies together with our reputable, global client base, with a focus on clients located in the APAC region 
  • Designing equity index strategies across various focus areas, including quantitative, thematic, and ESG-driven strategies
  • Developing historical performance simulations (back-testing) for defined investment strategies 
  • Conducting market research to understand trends and opportunities, with particular focus on the APAC region, to complement and enhance our index offering
  • Act as a subject matter expert in client meetings, roadshows, and sales campaigns
  • Supporting clients and internal stakeholders with technical and professional expertise in equity strategies
  • Drafting index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in index development 
  • Coordinating internal processes with our operations, sales and marketing teams for a successful index launch
Your Profile
  • Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or comparable programs 
  • 3-6 years of experience in the indexing industry, with particular focus on equity indexing 
  • Strong expertise in equity investment products 
  • Further proven programming skills in Python are essential 
  • Experience with data vendor terminals (e.g. FactSet) 
  • Delivery of timely results with focus on high quality even when confronted with tight deadlines 
  • Self-confidence and team-spirit 
  • Experience working in international teams and cross-cultural environments
  • Excellent communication skills in English

    Screening Call

    Recruiter

    The screening / introduction round is focus on assessment of a candidate's basic qualifications and determine whether (s)he is a good fit for the role and the company.

    Meeting the team

    Hiring manager + team

    The team round is focused on the candidate’s subject-matter know-how and abilities. The interviewer will ask questions specific to the job and the candidate’s prior experience. The candidate will be expected to provide specific examples to demonstrate his/her subject- matter knowledge.

    Task round

    From the hiring manager + team

    This one is an optional round, primarily targeted towards technical roles such as developers, that aims to filter out unfit candidates based on their coding skills.
    As part of the optional task round, the candidate will be given a home task to solve within a specified Roopalieline, which they will need to complete and send back to the hiring team for evaluation.

  4. 4.

    Management talk

    HR business partner + Department Head / C-Level

    The management round is the opportunity for the candidate to show qualifications and motivation for the role, from a strategic company-fit point of view.
    Moreover, it is an opportunity for the candidate to learn more about the company's culture and vision.
