On 27 February 2024, KESORAM INDUSTRIES LTD announced their intention to demerge their cement business and engage in share swap with ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD. On 20 September 2024, the company announced the approval of the scheme of arrangement in which shareholders of KESORAM INDUSTRIES LTD will receive 1 share of ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD for every 52 shares held of KESORAM INDUSTRIES LTD. The effective date of the demerger will be 10 March 2025.

• The spin-off company ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD will be added to the Index according to the transaction terms.
