Redemption | ROYAL BANK OF CANADA NON-CUM 1ST RED PREF SHS SERIES -BB- | 26th August 2024

On June 10, 2024 ROYAL BANK OF CANADA announced its intention to redeem all of its issued and outstanding Non-Viability Contingent Capital Non-Cumulative 5-Year Rate Reset First Preferred Shares, Series BB on August 24, 2024, for cash at a redemption price of CAD 25.00 per share to be paid on August 24, 2024.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• ROYAL BANK OF CANADA NON-CUM 1ST RED PREF SHS SERIES -BB- will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of ROYAL BANK OF CANADA NON-CUM 1ST RED PREF SHS SERIES -BB- (RY_ph.TO) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 26/08/2024
