BANK OF MONTREAL announced a Redemption of its NON-CUM CONV RED PFD REGISTERED SHS B SERIES -46- REG S shares on April 16, 2024 for a redemption price of 25 per share. The Redemption is expected to be completed on May 27, 2024, with the last trading day expected to be May 27, 2024.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• BANK OF MONTREAL NON-CUM CONV RED PFD REGISTERED SHS B SERIES -46- REG S will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of BANK OF MONTREAL NON-CUM CONV RED PFD REGISTERED SHS B SERIES -46- REG S (BMO_pf.TO) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 28/05/2024
