Today, on  26/10/2023, Solactive announces the following changes to the methodology of the following Indices (the ‘Affected Indices’)

Rationale for Methodology Change

Solactive has determined the current schedule of quarterly rebalances is not in line with the index strategy. Hence, the rebalance frequency is set to be annual. 

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following Methodology changes will be implemented in the following points of the Index Guideline

From (Old version):

“Rebalance Day” is the first Wednesday in February, May, August and November. If that day is not an Eligible Rebalance Day the Rebalance Day will be the immediately following Eligible Rebalance Day.

To (New version):

“Rebalance Day” is the first Wednesday in August. If that day is not an Eligible Rebalance Day the Rebalance Day will be the immediately following Eligible Rebalance Day.

The new guideline change will be effective on October 31, 2023. The change will obsolete the previous announcement  – Ordinary Rebalance | Solactive FAANG+ Index | Effective Date 2nd November 2023 made by Solactive regarding rebalance of the index.

Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date
