Rationale for methodology change

Solactive has determined that holiday calendar of the Affected Indices will be changed from ‘Common European banking’ to ‘XETRA’ holidays in order to improve the tradability. As the funds linked to the Affected Indices are only distributed in Germany, following the German index holiday calendar, the unfavorable situation exists where a client can buy an ETF but the index isn’t calculating any reference value. The opposite case might exist as well where the index is published but the investor is not able to sell or buy an ETF. This might lead to differences in the calculation as cash might be reinvested in the index on a day where the ETF does not trade.
