Methodology change | Solactive China Cloud Computing and Solactive China Biotech Indices | Effective Date 9th December 2019

Today, on the 6th of December 2019, Solactive announces the following clarification to the guideline of the following indices (the ‘Affected Indices’):

Rationale for the methodology change

1. Calculation time: It has been determined that the current calculation end time at 10:30 pm CET is not sufficient enough to ensure all prices including late trades are correctly reflected in the index calculation.
2. Calculation of the Index: It has been determined that there was a documentation error in the index guideline which mentioned the divisor formula as opposed to the standard formula where index shares and prices of the stocks in the index are used to calculate the index levels.

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following changes are made

1. Calculation time: The following changes are made in second paragraph of 1.4 Prices and calculation frequency

From: The Index is calculated every Business Day from 1:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., CET.

To: The Index is calculated every Business Day from 1:00 am to 10:50 pm, CET.
