Rationale for Methodology Change

Solactive has determined in order to align with EU Guidelines on Climate Transition Benchmarks the inflation factor calculation will use a simple average to calculate the EVIC of the Universe instead of a weighted average by market capitalization.

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following Methodology changes will be implemented in the following points of the Index Guideline:

From (old):

3.2 Target Carbon Intensity

Inflation is the quarterly change in average EVIC of the universe weighted by market capitailization as of most recent calendar year end and one year prior,

To (new):

3.2 Target Carbon Intensity

Inflation is the quarterly change in average EVIC of the universe as of most recent calendar year end and one year prior,
