On September 2, 2024 X5 RETAIL GROUP NV SPONSORED GDR REGS announced its intention to request the cancellation of the listing of the global depositary receipts GDRs ISIN US98387E2054 and ISIN US98387E1064 on the Official List of listed securities maintained by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and cancellation of the admission to trading of the GDRs on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange. X5 RETAIL GROUP NV SPONSORED GDR REGS simultaneously anticipates a cancellation of the listing of its GDRs on the Moscow Exchange. In addition, following the suspension of the Admission by the LSE on 3 March 2022, there has been no active public market in the GDRs for approximately 30 months. It is intended that the Delisting shall take effect, at the earliest, on 1 October 2024. No shareholder approval is required to implement the Delisting. X5 RETAIL GROUP NV SPONSORED GDR REGS will be removed from the indices at a price of zero on October 1, 2024.
The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:
- X5 RETAIL GROUP NV SPONSORED GDR REGS will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of X5 RETAIL GROUP NV SPONSORED GDR REGS (FIVEDR.MM) based on deal terms will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
