Bankruptcy | VARTA AG | 29th July 2024

On July 22, 204, VARTA AG announced the financial reorganization under the German Corporate Stabilization and Restructuring Act (StaRUG). As a result the capital would be reduced to zero and the stock would be permanently delisted. VARTA AG will be removed from the index effective July 29, 2024, based on its last close price. Please note, the final removal price will depend on the stock trading status. If it is not trading on the stock exchange or any alternative eligible exchange, then the removal price will be zero.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• VARTA AG will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of VARTA AG (VAR1.DE) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 29/07/2024
