Bankruptcy | SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC | 16th October 2023

On October 9, 2023 SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC commenced bankruptcy cases by filing voluntary petitions under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC expects to receive a notice from The Nasdaq Stock Market that its common share no longer meets the eligibility requirements necessary for listing pursuant to Nasdaq Listing Rule 5110(b) as a result of the Chapter 11 Cases. If SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC receives such notice, SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC does not intend to appeal Nasdaq’s determination and, therefore, it is expected that SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC Common Stock will be delisted. Solactive AG will remove SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC from the indices effective open October 16, 2023.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of SHIFT TECHNOLOGIES INC (SFT.OQ) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 16/10/2023
