Acquisition | WINCANTON PLC | 29th April 2024

On 29 February 2024, GXO LOGISTICS INC announced its firm intention to make a cash offer to acquire the entire issued share capital of WINCANTON PLC for an offer price of 605 pence in cash per share. WINCANTON PLC shareholders approved the scheme on April 10, 2024. Completion the Court sanctioning the Scheme at the Court Sanction Hearing which is expected to take place on 25 April 2024. Last day of dealings in WINCANTON PLC shares is expected on April 26, 2024.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• WINCANTON PLC will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of WINCANTON PLC (WIN.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
