On July 20, 2023, EVERTEC INC and SINQIA SA jointly announced a definitive agreement for EVERTEC INC to acquire SINQIA SA for a consideration of BRL 24.47 in cash and 0.014354 Evertec BDR per share. Shareholders of SINQIA SA approved the business combination between the Company and EVERTEC INC on September 14, 2023.. On September 27, 2023, SINQIA SA announced a tentative schedule for closing, stating the closing of the transaction and last trading day of SINQIA SA will be November 1, 2023. Evertec BDRs (EVERTEC BRASIL INFORMATICA SA) will then commence trading on November 3rd, 2023, on B3.
- SINQIA SA will be removed from the Index.
- The weight of SINQIA SA (SQIA3.SA) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
