Acquisition | RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE | 21st December 2023

On October 12,2023, RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE announced that they had reached agreement on the terms of a recommended all cash offer by APOLLO GLOBAL MANAGEMENT INC for the entire issued, and to be issued, share capital of RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE for GBP 0.65 per share. RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE shareholders approved the scheme at a meeting on November 27, 2023. Subject to the court hearing sanction the scheme on December 20, 2023, the last day of trading of RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE shares will be on December 20, 2023.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of RESTAURANT GROUP PLC/THE (RTN.L) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 21/12/2023
