Acquisition | NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A | 11th July 2024

Initially announced on October 9, 2023 S USA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY INC made a cash offer for NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A of USD 500 per NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A share held. NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A shareholders approved the Acquisition on January 8, 2024. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on July 11, 2024. Trading in shares of NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A is expected to be halted effective July 9, 2024. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on July 9, 2024. In absence of an active market, the last close price will reflect the Deal Terms of the transaction.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of NATL WESTERN LIFE INS-CL A (NWLI.OQ) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 11/07/2024
