Acquisition | GREENHILL & CO INC | 5th December 2023

Initially announced on May 23, 2023 MIZUHO FINANCIAL GROUP made a cash offer for GREENHILL & CO INC of USD 15 per GREENHILL & CO INC share held. GREENHILL & CO INC shareholders approved the Acquisition on August 16, 2023. All regulatory approvals required to complete the transaction have been received and the closing of the transaction is expected to be completed on November 30, 2023, following the close of trading. GREENHILL & CO INC is expected to be delisted effective December 1, 2023. GREENHILL & CO INC will stay in the index until removal on December 5, 2023.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

GREENHILL & CO INC will be removed from the Index.
The weight of GREENHILL & CO INC (GHL.N) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
Effective Date (open): 05/12/2023
