Acquisition | GATOS SILVER INC | 16th January 2025

Announced on September 5, 2024, FIRST MAJESTIC SILVER CORP and GATOS SILVER INC entered into an agreement pursuant to, which FIRST MAJESTIC will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of GATOS SILVER. Under the terms of the Agreement, GATOS SILVER shareholders will receive 2.55 common shares of FIRST MAJESTIC for each common share of GATOS SILVER held. GATOS SILVER shareholders will vote to approve the acquisition on January 14, 2025. The acquisition is expected to be completed on January 16, 2025.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

  • GATOS SILVER INC will be removed from the Index.
  • The weight of GATOS SILVER INC (GATO.N) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
  • Effective Date (open): 16/01/2025
