Initially announced on February 21, 2024 CHORD ENERGY CORP made a cash and stock offer for ENERPLUS CORP of USD 1.84 and 0.10125 shares per ENERPLUS CORP share held. ENERPLUS will also pay a special dividend of USD 0.232675 with Ex Date on May 30, 2024. ENERPLUS CORP shareholders approved the Acquisition on May 24, 2024. Pending the completion of customary closing conditions, the Acquisition is expected to be completed on May 31, 2024. Trading in shares of ENERPLUS CORP is expected to be halted effective May 31, 2024.

• ENERPLUS CORP will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of ENERPLUS CORP (ERF.TO) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
