Acquisition | DESCENTE LTD | 4th November 2024

On August 5, 2024, BS INVESTMENT CO, a subsidiary of ITOCHU Corp, announced its intention to launch a tender offer to acquire all outstanding shares of DESCENTE LTD not already owned. BS INVESTMENT CO announced the tender offer period will be from October 1, 2024, until October 29, 2024 (20 business days). The offer price is set at JPY 4350 per each DESCENTE LTD share held. On October 30 2024, the offer result is released and the acceptances reached 85.92% of issued share capital. As the free float of DESCENTE LTD has dropped below 15%, Solactive will remove DESCENTE LTD, providing a two business day notice.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• DESCENTE LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of DESCENTE LTD (8114.T) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 04/11/2024
