Acquisition | ASIA CEMENT CHINA HOLDINGS | 29th August 2024

On 5 June 2024, it was jointly announced by ASIA CEMENT CHINA and ASIA CEMENT CORP the proposed privatization of ASIA CEMENT CHINA HOLDINGS by way of scheme of arrangement. ASIA CEMENT CORP made a cash offer of HKD 3.22 per share of ASIA CEMENT CHINA HOLDINGS. The resolution to approve the Scheme was not approved by the Scheme Shareholders. As the Scheme was not approved at the Court Meeting None of the events indicated in the expected timetable set out in the Scheme Document in relation to the Proposal and the Scheme will take place from the date of this announcement. Please note that since the scheme has not been approved, ASIA CEMENT CHINA HOLDINGS will no longer be deleted from indices effective August 29,2024.
