Clarification | Solactive Crude (WTI) Optimal Roll Yield ER Index| Effective Date 16th June 2020

Today, on the 02/06/2020, Solactive announces the following clarification to the methodology of the following index (the ‘Affected Index’):

Rationale for clarification

In order to provide  clarity  in case the Affected Index has  a non-positive index level due to non-positive prices, a clarification regarding the occurrence of this situation will be added to the Index Guideline.

Changes to the Index Guideline

The following sentence will be added at the end of Section 3.2.1 and 3.2.2:

“Sollte der Indexschlussstand an einem Indexgeschäftstag t auf oder unter 0 fallen, so ist der Indexschlussstand an Indexgeschäftstag t und allen Indexgeschäftstag t folgenden Indexgeschäftstagen ebenfalls 0. Eine untertägige Berechnung findet dann nicht mehr statt.”

Defined terms used in this announcement, but not defined herein, have the meaning assigned to them in the respective index guideline of the Affected Indices. The amended version of the index guideline will be available on the effective date.
