Acquisition | VECTOR GROUP LTD | 10th October 2024

Initially announced on August 21, 2024 JAPAN TOBACCO made a cash offer for VECTOR GROUP LTD of USD 15 per VECTOR GROUP LTD share held. The tender offer period, initiated on September 4, 2024, expired at one minute after 11:59 P.M., Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on October 4, 2024. On October 7, 2024, JAPAN TOBACCO announced the acquisition was successfully completed. Shares of VECTOR GROUP LTD have been delisted as of October 7, 2024. In the absence of an active market, the last close price will reflect the Deal Terms of the transaction.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• VECTOR GROUP LTD will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of VECTOR GROUP LTD (VGR.N) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 10/10/2024
