Initially announced on November 7, 2023 Kazuo Nakamura made via HOKUTO MANAGEMENT a cash offer for CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD of JPY 2,650 per CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD share held. The tender offer expired on January 4, 2024. As a result of the tender offer the ownership ratio of Kazuo Nakamura’s companies in CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD reached 86.9%. Following the successful MBO, Kazuo Nakamura plans to delist CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD. Since the free float of CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD has fallen below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove CMIC HOLDINGS CO LTD giving 2 business days notice on January 11, 2024.
