Acquisition | SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG | 16th November 2023

On September 23, 2023, TE CONNECTIVITY LTD launched a tender offer to acquire the entire share capital of SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG. Each shareholder of SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG will receive CHF 505 in cash for every share held. The offer commenced on October 13, 2023 and ended on 10 November, 2023. Based on the provisional interim results announced on November 13, 2023 the acquirer holds 89.1 percent shares of SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG. The offeror intends to request the cancellation of the outstanding publicly held Schaffner Shares. As the free float of SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG has dropped below 15 percent, Solactive AG will remove SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG with 2 days notice.

The treatment below will be applied to the following indices:

• SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG will be removed from the Index.
• The weight of SCHAFFNER HOLDING AG-REG (SAHN.S) based on its last close price will be distributed pro rata to remaining Index constituents.
• Effective Date (open): 16/11/2023
